Welcome home, the 18th star. The next and newest Star of Indian Railways! A welcome from the depths of hearts of citizens to the South Coast Rail Zone, Visakhapatnam.
The long cherished dream has come true for the city and region of 4 plus million people.
On this historic day, the first June 2020, South Coast Rail Zone has officially started operations with headquarters at Visakhapatnam. Wow, what a joy! All that long wait made the final win and realisation, much more sweeter and memorable.
Hundreds of employees newly relocated to Visakhapatnam would be busy in working out the operations of the fledgeling rail zone, the bosses will be fielding questions from media, and while oversee operations, at the same time, nodding to every leader who has a field day!
The acrimonious debates, gut churning betrayals, endless waits and questions without answers all are over. So it’s now time for business.
So, as you, the South Coast Rail Zone, start your first day in your long journey that outlives everyone who is cheering now, here are the best wishes for Good Luck, unflinching patronage, great budgets, peaceful operations, clean, efficient and sustainable management, neighbours at their best behaviours, unhindered smooth functioning, many dreams, shattered records, endless bliss and all, to you and us.
